Tough Defense in a Tough State
Every state is slightly different in its approach to drug crimes. Utah is tough on drug offenders. It is important to know that if you have a drug charge, even though you may not have been in a car at the time of your arrest, Utah will still try to take your driver's license. In Utah, your license to drive is affected by any pending drug possession, distribution, manufacturing, trafficking or other drug crime charge.
From my Salt Lake City law office, I help men, women, young adults and juveniles who have been charged with drug crimes. If you have been charged with possession of an illegal drug, or illegal possession of a prescription drug such as OxyContin, it is vitally important to seek out the legal counsel of an experienced attorney.
Passionate About Your Defense
As a criminal defense lawyer, one the main services that I provide is to keep you well informed. I'll let you know what your options are at every stage, and explain the steps of the process as we go through it together. In my more than 17 years of criminal defense work, I have helped a great many people charged with drug crimes.
I offer criminal defense services for the following charges:
- Drug possession — Meth, cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, psilocybin mushrooms, LSD, OxyContin, DMT and other prescription and illegal narcotics
- Drug distribution/sales
- Manufacturing
- Trafficking
- Minors in possession
Please be aware that on a second drug charge for a minor, a driver's license is revoked for two years or until age 21 — whichever is longer.
