A man and his wife were going northbound on Interstate 15. During the argument, the woman tried jump out of the car as they entered the Browse off ramp. Her husband tried to stop her, which seems to be a fairly normal reaction for someone who sees their spouse trying to jump from a moving vehicle.
Eventually, the woman exited the vehicle, but there is some speculation as to whether the man pushed her or if she jumped. After that, the man ended up crashing the vehicle with the guardrail. He swerved across the lanes and ended up hitting cedar trees at the bottom of the embankment.
The man and his wife were found walking between the interstate and the frontage road. They both had minor injuries. The man has been charged with aggravated assault and driving under the influence in connection with the accident.
This man now has to deal with the criminal justice system. He has the right to present his side of the story as a defense. Those facing criminal charges should make sure they know their rights and the options they have with their case.
